Drop the Rate Mate reaches 10,000 signatories

As you may remember, high Mobile Termination Rates are currently under investigation in New Zealand. Telecoms company 2Degrees, started their own campaign ‘Drop the Rate Mate’ shortly after we launched Terminate the Rate in the UK.

This week ‘Drop the Rate Mate’ hit their first milestone of 10,000 signatories. This is a huge achievement for the campaign showing there is a lot of support abroad in countries with high MTRs. We continue to watch the Drop the Rate Mate campaign with interest.



Mobile operators to get a £4m Christmas present

Nigel Continues To Back The “Terminate The Rate” Campaign
